The gallery page is intended to show a selection of illustrations by various artists, depicting the different interpretations of Ginger throughout the series. I am indebted to many friends for their help in scanning in drawings from the books they own to add to my own collection.

The pictures below were kindly sent by Ed van Driel. They depict Ginger in The Black Peril.

Below are two illustrations from the Dutch edition of Biggles Fails To Return, thanks to Ed van Driel, which appear to be identical to those in the British Omnibus edition. They are by Stead who has become synonymous with Biggles illustrations.

The illustrations both depict Ginger in his Mon駡sque disguise; the one on the left shows him setting off with Lucille, the donkey, and the one on the right shows the disastrous consequences of trying to take the bends on the road to La Grave de Peille too quickly.
